Many people are not able to use
their Epson scanner after upgrading their Windows to Windows 10. The first
thing that the user needs to do in this case is to verify that their scanner is
not set to the compatibility mode. Follow the instructions given here by Epson
Executives for this:
• Right-click the Epson scan icon
and then go to its Properties.
• Then click on the Compatibility
tab and uncheck the box next to “Run this program in compatibility mode for”
and click OK button.
• Press Windows + R key at the
same time to open Run dialog box.
• Then type services.msc and
click OK. This will open the Services window.
• After this, right-click Windows
Image Acquisition (WIA) to open its Properties.
• See to it that Startup type is
set to Automatic and the Service Status is set to Running.
• If so, then click apply and
then OK.
Now you can check if your scanner
is working well or not. If you are still facing the same issue then you must
update scanner driver or call us at Epson Printer
